A Pay Group is a pay period. Different Pay Groups can be created for any employees who get paid at different times or have different pay periods. Pay Groups are also where approvals of payroll occur.
Create a different Pay Group for each manager that has employees and approves payroll for those employees.
Add a Pay Group
Navigate to Preferences - Pay Groups
To create a new Pay Group select Add Pay Group
